The U.S. Women's National Team competes annually in the IIHF Women's World Championship and Four Nations Cup. It also participates in a Pre-Olympic Tour in the months prior to the Olympic Winter Games that take place every four years.
The USWNT has also taken part in certain events in the past that are no longer active, such as the Twelve Nations Invitational and Pacific Championships.
National Team Evaluation Camps are held regularly to monitor the progress of players and assist with their development.
