2011 IIHF Under-18 Women's World Championship

Stockholm, Sweden


The U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team breezed through the preliminary round, outscoring opponents 28-1 with victories over Czech Republic (11-0), Japan (7-1) and Sweden (10-0). In the semifinal, the U.S. ousted the Czechs 14-1. The United States beat rival Canada 5-2 to claim its third gold medal in four years and finished the tournament a perfect 5-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L).
