In the semifinal, the U.S. defeated Finland, 3-0, to secure a match up with rival Canada in the gold-medal game. The U.S. topped Canada, 3-2 to earn the gold medal. The United States finished the tournament 4-0-1-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L), outscoring opponents 17-7.
